Amy Purdy started snowboarding at the age of 15 but contracted bacterial magnetise when she was 19 due to which she lost her both legs. Her love for snowboarding was so strong that she found a way out to pursue her career in it. A non-profit organisation for disabled sports supported and she stood tall against all odds. She set an example for all those who give up hope easily.
