It is not for nothing that silence has been branded as famous. When it comes to life, problems are as commonplace as what life throws up at all turns and bends. However, one he difference that comes in lives of different individuals is the fact that each person adapts to life as per his perspective. The world seems divided into two territories\u2014if you my call it so\u2014of introverts and extroverts! Perhaps the greatest bridge between the two categories lies in the way they listen to things. While fast and quick talkers often speak more, introverts have laced the tag of listening in silence.<\/p>\n

Without taking sides, it is important to understand life shapes according to the way your listen and face things. While chirping away seems like a temporary solution to the biggest of issues in life, a minute spent in silence gives you an insight into the depth this holds. It is not for nothing the saying goes\u2014\u201cSilence is a source of great strength.\u201d<\/p>

While being silent is often associated with being a victim to others\u2019 dominance, this is only up to your perspective. Instead of clamoring and quibbling incessantly in a scenario whereby some disturbance has already cropped up, staying put seems a pragmatic step. Arguments have their own place and time but silence delivers a great message\u2014one of resistance and of adaptability.<\/p>

Often children are instructed to understand the power of silence. From our toddlerhood, we are parented and coaxed into understanding how important it is to speak only when needed and that too in words that are carefully weighed. While your nearest of relations might value you for your inner self, the first impression an outsider draws is from the way you speak. As much as this matters, the power to listen in sincere silence holds equal importance.<\/p>\n

Even in a love relationship or in a mentor-learner relationship, the ability to grasp the words of the other is the first step to setting up the edifice of the relation. In the simplest of conflicts, constant exchange of words only heats the situation further.<\/p>\n

\n<\/b>It is left for either of the parties to take up the role of listening with silent focus. Only then can mutual bond and trust grow to be stronger.<\/p>\n
