Marcus and Julian were having a hard time with their kids. They had two daughters and a son. All of them were teenagers and were not ready to listen to their parents. One day when Marcus came home, he saw his elder daughter Ana at the entrance. She was all dressed to go somewhere. Marcus at once asked, \u201cAs far as I know you don\u2019t have you tuitions at this time of the hour, do you? Would you mind telling me where you are heading?\u201d<\/p>\n

Ana took a sigh and said, \u201cI am going on a date with Brian, dad. He is on his way to pick me. We are going for a movie. I was just waiting for you since mom said that I must ask you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat did I say about dating someone I don\u2019t know? Let me just remind you one more time that you are not allowed to date someone I know,\u201d Marcus said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDad, Brian is on his way. You can meet him,\u201d Ana said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, but he would still be a stranger. I hardly know anything about him,\u201d Marcus said as he put his handbag on the table.<\/p>\n

A few minutes later Julian was there in the living room. When she saw them having an intense argument she gave a little nod to Marcus to let Ana go on a date. Marcus had had never imagined himself arguing with his daughter this way. It broke his heart.<\/p>\n

Ana left as soon as she got the permission.<\/p>\n

\"Lucky<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have got on my nerves now. What do I have to do to keep my kids in control?\u201d Marcus murmured.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t worry Marcus, everything if going to be all right, \u201cJulian said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I don\u2019t think so. It is getting worse day by day,\u201d Marcus said in frustration.<\/p>\n

Julian took his hand in her own hands and said, \u201cEven god could not control his kids. Do you know that?\u201d<\/p>

Marcus had no expressions on his face when he heard that.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right let me tell you about it. God created the world but then he wondered who would live there. However, he made Adam and Eve after making heaven and hell. He told Adam and Eve not to eat the forbidden fruit but they didn\u2019t listen to Him. They ate it and when God came to know about it, he lost his patience.<\/p>\n

He asked Eve, \u201cWhy did you eat the forbidden fruit?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI just felt like it, \u201cEve said with a big smile on her face.<\/p>\n

Then God asked Adams, \u201cDo you have an answer? Why did you eat the fruit when I had told you not to do that?\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Adam<\/p>\n

\u201cEve ate it first and she said it was delicious. So, I took a bite,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

God was not convinced with their lame excuses. He wanted to punish them in a way so that they could feel exactly the same way God was feeling at that moment. God thought for a moment and then said, \u201cYou two would have kids of your own then only you would realize your mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marcus didn\u2019t even get to know that he had got so involved in the story that he almost lost the track of time.<\/p>\n

\u201cEver since it has been the same way, people taste the delicious fruit and they have kids who trouble them until their last breath. There are always some exceptions and every parent has to go through the same phase. We are no different, Marcus,\u201d Julian explained.<\/p>\n

The day Marcus did not say anything to Ana when she came late at night and broke another family rule of dining together. The next morning Marcus again got into an argument with Ana who didn\u2019t even bother.<\/p>\n

It actually happens with all the parents and it always gives you a mixed feeling.<\/p>\n
