\u201cWhy do you want to know that?\u201d David\u2019s mother asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust like that,\u201d David replied.<\/p>

\n<\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n

\u201cBirds can fly since they have wings,\u201d his mother said,<\/p>\n

\"mother<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, birds can fly since they have wings. Why can\u2019t they walk, they have legs too,\u201d David asked his mother.
\n\u201c Oh my goodness, sometimes it is so difficult to make you understand,\u201d the mother said as she went inside the kitchen.<\/p>\n

Like all other kids, David was always curious to know everything. He would ask questions that were difficult for his parents to answer. They always made up a story but David was such a smart kid that he always got to know that.<\/p>\n

On day when his father had invited a few colleagues over dinner, he introduced David and asked him to be there with them in the living room. David was there in the corridor when they had arrived and he had noticed that one of them was very tall and the other one was terribly short at height. Now, he was sitting there talking to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy don\u2019t we talk about something?\u201d the taller one said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSure, why are you so tall,\u201d David asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am tall since my parents are taller,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\"Chat\"<\/p>\n

\u201cThat means if your parent were short you would also be short at height, but why is that so?\u201d David asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt depends upon your genes,\u201d the taller person replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, but I have another question for you,\u201d David said. The other person who was short at height was preparing himself mentally to answer the questions. He took a sigh of relief when David\u2019s father called him inside the kitchen.<\/p>

\u201cWhat is it, dad?\u201d David asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope you didn\u2019t ask them one of your silly questions, did you?\u201d his father asked him. \u201cOh my goodness, I juts forgot to tell you that. They are here to discuss a business plan so you should spare them,\u201d his father explained.<\/p>\n

Few days later, when David went for walk with his dad he asked him, \u201cDad I have an interesting question for you?\u201d<\/p>\n

His father knew that he would have to answer his question eventually as he has gone through the same situation a thousand times before. He took a deep breath and said, \u201cShoot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDad, I believe you know that babies come from a mommy\u2019s tummy,\u201d David asked.<\/p>\n

His father had a good look at him and said,\u201d I believe so.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut how do they get in there?\u201d David asked innocently.<\/p>\n

\"man<\/p>\n

His father didn\u2019t know what to tell a four year old. Moreover, he could not make an excuse and sneak into the kitchen to take his mother\u2019s help. He thought for a moment and said, \u201cAll right, now that is really an interesting question, I must say.\u201d<\/p>\n

He had hardly finished his sentence when David started staring at him and said, \u201cDad please don\u2019t make up a story, It is all right if you don\u2019t know the answer. Our science teacher is really an intelligent girl. I will ask her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Father didn\u2019t have anything to say after having this conversation.<\/p>\n

Kids are curious to know everything. Sometimes they ask you strange things that simply blow your mind.<\/p>\n
