Lucy got up in the morning and saw that her husband John was not there in the room. Usually he used to sleep until late. She looked everywhere in the house but he was nowhere. Then she went outside and saw John sitting alone. He had a small cake in his hands. The moment Lucy looked at him she asked, \u201cJohn, what are you doing here sitting alone?\"marriage-anniversary\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHappy marriage anniversary sweetheart,\u201d John replied.<\/p>

\u201cOh my god you remember that,\u201d she moved a step further and gave a tight hug to her husband.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so lucky to have you in my life,\u201d Lucy said.<\/p>\n

She came and sat next to John. A few minutes later, she noticed that he had tears in his eyes.<\/p>\n

\u201cJohn, why are you crying? What happened?\u201d she asked as she settled down.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lucy got nostalgic, as she did not know John remember that now. She took his hands in her own hands and said \u201cOh my goodness. Do you still remember it?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHow can I forget that day? Do you remember the coffee shop where we used to sit for hours?\u201d he asked as he was sobbing.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I still remember that though I thought you had forgotten. I never knew you loved me so much. You remember every single detail. You still remember that place,\u201d Lucy said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow can I forget that place? Do you remember when your father had caught us together in that coffee shop?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe asked me to come home where he had asked me to get married to you or he threatened me to put me behind the bars for next twenty years,\u201d John explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, we were so scared John but how come you recall that today,\u201d Lucy made a remark.\u201d<\/p>\n

John took a sigh and said,\u201d Had I chosen the second option I would have come out today.\u201d<\/p>\n
